Embarking on the Navratri festival, each day symbolizing a different color, actress Pranitha Subhash kicks off the celebrations on the first day with a vibrant yellow theme. Expressing her fondness for the traditional practice of associating colors with festivals, she remarks, “I find the concept of connecting colors with celebrations quite delightful.” Wearing yellow fills her with happiness, as the color signifies brightness and joy, embodying the ideal start to the Navratri festivities.
According to Pranitha, yellow always holds a significant role in festival decorations and floral arrangements. Although she admits to never adhering to the practice of following the nine colors of Navratri before, she eagerly anticipates experiencing and embracing each color this year. Commending Bangalore Times for introducing the concept of diverse individuals celebrating each color, she aims to personally incorporate all the hues over the nine days. Her objective is to cultivate a cheerful atmosphere, instill positivity, and amplify the radiance in everyone's lives.
This year, the focus of Pranitha's festivities extends to new beginnings, as she discloses, “We have recently settled into our new home, and our festive celebrations are going all out. As my daughter Arna grows, I aspire to educate her about our traditions by actively participating in these festivals at home.”
